"Volunteering Gets You Going"
VolunFlex(“Volunteering Flex”) was founded by two Foothill college students who are enthusiasts in helping others. When we normally say "Flex" these days, we instantly think about spending money to buy luxury goods. What we wanted to do was to convert the original meaning of it by adding a completely unexpected word "Volunteering."
The extremely sophisticated world that we now live in allows us to enjoy new things that have been created, but on the other hand, it also created the dark side of the world. Poverty and hunger have become significant issues in society and the strike of the Covid-19 pandemic aggravated those issues. At Volunflex, we first research the area that is currently experiencing hardships and after a thorough examination, we create a project with a detailed plan to help those organizations. We believe hope is where the heart is and want more people to know the joy that volunteering brings.
