Perfect Revolution

Learning about the New Technological Agricultural Equipment used in the Malaysian Agriculture field, the Pesticide Spraying Drone. Sharing knowledge and creating awareness about the equipment that helps farmers in Malaysia to spray pesticides more efficiently, which takes a shorter time. Besides, a piece of equipment that helps overcome the labor shortage problem in Malaysia. Building our own prototype of inexpensive and good quality drones for farmers who cannot afford those expensive drones in the market.

Project Goal

Create awareness about agricultural drones that are introduced to the Malaysian agriculture field recently to overcome the labor shortage in Malaysia. Moreover, to promote the pesticide and fertilizers spraying drones invented and designed by Advansia Drone to ease Malaysian Farmer's lives since pesticide spraying drones can spray up to 3 hectares per hour whereas a single human can't do it.

What is Agriculture Drone?

An agricultural drone is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) used to help optimize agriculture operations, increase crop production, and monitor crop growth. Sensors and digital imaging capabilities can give farmers a richer picture of their fields. Using an agriculture drone and gathering information from it may prove useful in improving crop yields and farm efficiency. Types of agriculture drones that you can find in the market are either fixed-wing or multi-propeller; however, there is a different kind of agriculture UAV used in agriculture field as well which is known as the unmanned helicopters.

Usage of Drones by Industry Sector

There is an aerial revolution happening across the globe in the past recent years. Drones have emerged as one of the highly viable commercial tools with applications in numerous sectors ranging from agriculture to entertainment and media and, most notably is infrastructure/construction. This isn’t surprising, as their benefits range from on-site safety to a level of project monitoring, which wasn’t previously possible. The chart below shows which industries are the largest adopters of commercial SUAs (Small Unmanned Aircraft) according to PwC and how much of the market they control.

Problem we Face in Agriculture Field
How to solve these problems ?

Main Benefits of Drones in Agriculture fields

->Problems we faced in the Agriculture field are :

1) Plantations operations involves challenging terrains, labor-intensive, inaccuracy & undocumentations due to manual labor

2)Plantations are huge, lack visibility, late detection of pest outbreaks, uncontrolled spread of pests

->>How can we solve these problems?

1) The agricultural drone is high in Precision Agriculture Spraying application; It can perform an aerial survey, has specialized multispectral sensors, and can have early detection of problem areas.

2) Drones are Targeted Protection from Pest Attacks. High accuracy in pesticide/fertilizer spraying also helps reduce the reliance on manual labor while saving costs and increasing crop yield.

Main Disadvantages of Manual Spraying Applications

- Hard to Walk
- Operator Exposure
- Labor Cost increase
- Aging and Urbanization
- Not efficient equipments
