Another Initiative of "Studying in the States"

Anderson Lam(Project Leader of "Studying in the States") apply to be the mentor of JomStudyUSA! which is an advising cohort organized by EducationUSA Malaysia which is affiliated with U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Malaysian-American Commission On Educational Exchange (MACEE). Anderson was able to get the positions and are the mentor of two Malaysian students who are currently studying in their high school. Anderson's final goal is to able to help students on US college application and able to send them to Top University in the US. This year-long program could be long but it could be meaningful for the students who want to study in the US !

EducationUSA Malaysia is organizing Jom Study USA!, an exclusive advising cohort to help highly motivated students achieve their dreams to study in the U.S. This year-long program will take you on a step-by-step on U.S. college application. This includes explanation of the U.S. education system, test preparation seminars, essay writing sessions and assignments, application advising, volunteering opportunities, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to connect with current students, alumni and US university representatives, just to name a few. Jom Study USA! aims to develop your potential, showcase your strengths, and enhance your college applications in the best possible manner to secure admissions and potentially receive funding from U.S. universities. Other than sessions with our EducationUSA advisers, selected participants will also be paired with a mentor to help their journey to U.S. education. While this program does not guarantee admissions, it is designed to assist self-organized and independent students to improve chances of being admitted to U.S. colleges or universities.
