VolunFlex is achieving more with all the members’ initiatives than ever before. Everyone work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. VolunFlex was created four months ago and now already has ten projects that were lead by every member. Every member has the chance to be the project leader of their project, and they can also join other projects as a member. VolunFlex has donated tons of masks and food donations to 9 different community agencies in Santa Clara County, such as CSA Mountain View, MVPD, MVFD, Day worker Center of Mountain View, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and many others more. Our goal is to spread the gratefulness of what was given every day in our lives by sharing and supporting communities that have been disadvantaged. We want everyone in the organization or outsider to not forget about the good deeds that have been passed across the nations. VolunFlex focus isn’t only on the US, but also international, and we have some projects that will be started in Malaysia, South Korea, and even Japan, such as an educational seminar talk about Studying in the States, teaching Japanese language and culture online, saving and adopt young animals and many other more initiatives. VolunFlex also managed to adopt a sun bear from the Bornean SunBear conservation center in Malaysia that is in nutrients deprived condition. Not only that, VolunFlex contacted the center to request permission for fundraising for the center, and 100% of the profit will be given to them. All the projects in VolunFlex are caring about serving the community and also building our own society from Foothill College students and even De Anza College students. We are still a small organization because we want to make sure that every member of the organization gets the chance to be a project leader and lead their projects before recruiting more people into the team. At VolunFlex, We get the chance to coordinate and lead the team for better success since serving our community is our responsibility and helping people in need is our mission.
