National Zoo of Malaysia is facing a financial crisis because of the loss of income caused by the Third Wave of Covid-19 in Malaysia. As the Director of Zoo Negara, Mr. Mat Naim Ramli, quoted that they only have enough emergency funds to last for three months.

Wages cost Rm400,000, food totals Rm350,000, and utilities come to RM180,000. The total is approximately USD 230000. This is not a small amount of money to manage the National Zoo, so they are in need of financial assistance from everyone.

What you can do is participate in the Adopt an Animal program in order to help Zoo Negara to continue protecting the animals. There are different adoption packages that you can choose from.

Your donation could help Zoo Negara to maintain the animals’ food, enrichment, and veterinary care.
